When you're a kid you get told, "when you're a grown-up you won't be able to read science fiction, grown-ups don't read that; grown-ups read about war and effective stock trading." Screw that, I say. This generation came along and completely changed everything; why not change what it means to be an adult? I like remote control helicopters and magic tricks...I still own an Atari 2600, Nintendo, and Sega Genesis...consoles that defined 3 decades. As it said in the 'good' book, "when I became a man, I gave up childish ways." To hell with that

As a side note, it's embarrassingly difficult to take a picture of that helicopter in front of my face before it flies out of frame. I've never had to take so many pictures for any comic before. I guess that's the biggest flaw with my being the only one here.

Yep. That fixed it.

But remember, besides telling us to put aside our childish ways in the Bible, Christ also admonished that we must be like unto a child.
So you're right. You need to pick and choose, not just chuck it all.

But with that perfect white background why didn't you just copy a picture of the helicopter into the picture of you?

"you're not supposed to," "you can't," etc... Love 'em. Always have. I'm a human being, and when I'm given boundaries, I want to test their limits.

I realize it's a bit neurotic, but I try to minimize the amount of photoshopping that goes into this comic. I know that is utterly ridiculous considering it's a heavily edited photo comic, but I prefer for all of the things I'm doing in the pictures to actually be what I'm doing when I take the picture(or as close as is possible).

I dunno if you read XKCD but I was just reading one of his comics that makes a similar point ^_^ It's a good point to make.

I do, in fact, read XKCD. I wasn't trying to steal from Munroe, but it looks like that comic was probably the inspiration for this one. Not necessarily a bad thing, just not what I was shooting for.

Well done. This is probably going to be my wallpaper for about a month.
