I truly cannot understand why Christians have such a massive problem with the idea that God came from somewhere. It doesn't undermine any of the tenets of Christianity. Think of it like this, you could have multiple gods existing and creating their own universes, but your god is the only one that exists within this universe. That idea in no way contradicts anything in the bible or any other holy book.
On a similar note, think about this...what if the god of the Old Testament and the god of the New Testament are two different gods? As in, the OT god created the universe, and ran it for a while; but then NT god decided that the universe could be run more efficiently, and thus staged a coup to overthrow OT god. That would explain an awful lot about the universe.

The same holds true for my belief that if the universe was created by the Christian god, and if he truly is the ONLY one of his kind; he MUST have created millions of universes. I realize I sound like I'm picking on Christianity here, but I'm just using it as an example of the traditional monotheistic religions. Anyway, people have this massive problem with God creating numerous universes in that it would mean that humanity isn't the center of everything that God has ever done. However, that can still hold true, within THIS universe. I would genuinely be SHOCKED if I were to die and discovered that an all powerful being is capable of amusing himself for eternity with only this universe and its inhabitants to keep him company.

Major props as to the idea in your comments...I don't understand why people can't consider the fact that their God might've come from somewhere. Doesn't it make sense?
